Tractor Restoration and Painting

This antique 1966 John Deere 2510 tractor Serial No.SNT713P001556R is from a gentleman in Bedford, NY, who maintains the pastures of the local horse farms in Connecticut by spreading lime and fertilizer. 

The John Deere model 2510 used a 2020 engine fitted to a modified 3020 chassis.  The tractor the met the need for a smaller row crop tractor still popular in the late 1960’s

Before this tractor had arrived to us the motor and brakes were completely overhauled by a local John Deere dealer.

This John Deere tractor was sandblasted, primed and painted with John Deere Green and Yellow.   The tractor was then finished with a protective clear coat.
