Shipping

Standard transportation fees are assessed by UPS, the following fees may be added UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. These fees are for 2013 as of 12/14/2012:

  • Additional Handling Fee (on products that cannot be shipped in a box, and sometimes very oversized items): $8.00
  • COD Fee: $11.00 per box (in addition to transportation costs) Residential Surcharge (only to specific zip codes provided by UPS): $2.75
  • Residential Extended Area Surcharge (only to specific zip codes provided by UPS) $2.60
  • Saturday Delivery (only available on expedited services in certain areas): $17.00
  • Addresses that are entered online incorrectly by the customer may be charged a $12.00 fee

All Internet orders are simply assessed $2.50 per order regardless of the number of boxes.

Sometimes the computer doesn't know how many pieces we can actually get into a single box. If there is a large discrepancy, we will contact you and issue a partial refund. Shipping is dependent not only size of item but also on volume of the box, then upon the weight, dimension, destination and products ordered. An official UPS computer scale calculates the shipping fee. The handling fee is $2.50 for each order. Additional handling fees may also be required by UPS or by the truck freight company.

UPS and USPS have minimum charges. Often times if you purchase more than one small item, the charge does not increase significantly

Normally orders placed by noon Monday – Friday will be shipped no later than the following day. However, during peak times it may take several days to get an order out. Your package will then be delivered in 1 - 7 business days (based on UPS Ground service originating from shipping warehouse).

In acknowledgment of its obligations, we have adopted the following Privacy Policy applicable to information about consumers that it acquires in the course of its business:

  • 1. Acquisition of Information. We do not acquire any more information about consumers than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely.
  • 2. Our Employees and Privacy. We train all of our employees about the importance of privacy. We give access to information about consumers only to those employees who require it to perform their jobs.
  • 3. Security Measures. We make access to privacy-sensitive information subject to rigorous procedural and technological controls, consistent with legal requirements and the demands of customer service.
  • 4. Disclosure to Third Parties. We will provide individually-identifiable information about consumers to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority, we have the express permission of the consumer, or it is necessary to process transactions and provide our services.
  • 5. Privacy and Our Business Partners. When we make our technology or services available to business partners, we will not share with them any more consumer information than is necessary, and we will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use our technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Warranty & Policies

We believe in the fair and honest treatment of our valued customers.

We hope that you are 100% satisfied with your purchases from us. But if this is not so, we would want to make sure your return is not simple. Please keep all packing materials and paperwork when you receive your product delivery. Inspect your shipment carefully so that if there are any problems we can correct them quickly. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Return Policies

Merchandise Returns:

Please open and inspect all the merchandise UPON ARRIVAL. Any merchandise which is not defective or damaged* may be returned for exchange, refund, or credit and will be subject to a 20% restocking charge. After six months, a 50% restocking charge will be applied. No returns, exchanges or credits will be issued on merchandise after one year. Special order items are not returnable. Unfortunately we do not refund original shipping and handling fees placed on catalog and on-line orders. If you cancel your order after the item has been shipped, shipping and handling costs will not be refunded.

ALL MERCHANDISE RETURNS MUST BE MADE WITH TRANSPORTATION CHARGES PREPAID; WE CAN NOT ACCEPT COLLECT SHIPMENTS. ABSOLUTELY NO CLAIMS PAID WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION.

All returned merchandise must include:

  • 1) Copy of invoice / packing slip
  • 2) Return Authorization Number

A return authorization number (RGA) may be requested via e-mail. Please include your name, customer number, part number(s) being returned and the reason for the return. The RGA will be e-mailed back to you with additional return instructions.

*Book / Manual & VHS / DVD Policy:
Kuhn’s Tractor Sales Inc. does not accept returns for exchange, refund, or credit on books / manuals and VHS / DVD tractor repair videos.

*Electrical Parts Policy:
Kuhn’s Tractor Sales Inc. does not accept returns for exchange, refund, or credit on electrical parts.

*Paint Policy:
Kuhn’s Tractor Sales Inc. does not accept returns for exchange, refund, or credit on parts due to paint color. The paint is strictly a primer to prohibit rust. It is impossible to color match the paint due to several paint codes that have been changed throughout the years by the tractors' manufacturers. The parts must be repainted and in some cases stripped and repainted.

Damage Shipments, Shortages & Shipment Errors:
In the event of damage, shortage or an error to any shipment, please contact us immediately via e-mail at kuhns@antiquetractorsrus.com (must notify us within 30 days) for instructions. Please save all of the original packaging!

Warranty:

Parts are covered by warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase. Immediate replacement is given if defective in workmanship. Our liability is limited to the replacement of the defective part or refund of the purchase price. This warranty does not cover diagnostic, installation labor and/or final paint finish. A good mechanic should thoroughly clean and inspect the part(s) prior to installation. No replacement is given if broken by customer. We do not accept, nor are we responsible for the manner in which any of these products are used. Neither seller nor manufacturer shall be liable for any loss, injury or damage, direct or consequential, arising from the use of, or the inabilities of the product. After use, the user shall assume all risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith.
